Three Card Thursday

The first card for this week is the Queen of Swords. This reminds us to balance our intellect with our emotions rather than trying to apply cold hard logic to every situation. Maturity, wisdom and sound reasoning are important, but we need to take our feelings into account and make room for magic and wonder.

Next we have the Devil. This card has two facets that are important this week. The first is the need to avoid becoming ensnared by things that will hold us back, whether they be physical, mental or social. The second is the importance of following our own path rather than letting the world force us in a particular direction.

Lastly we have the Nine of Cups reversed. This suggests that we have the pieces needed for lasting fulfillment, but we still have to put them together in the way which is uniquely ours. This task is one that we will be able to make significant progress on over the week.
