Black Locust Soliflore
[Eau de Parfum]
- Currently on Batch #2 -
It is impossible to have an entirely natural perfume that also smells like fresh, Black Locust Flowers. So don't expect that if you acquire this.
Orange Blossom and its unbridled aspects, Grape Candy, Clear Sweet Honey and Hay. It is a near-impossible scent to capture. What I was able to create here began Spring of 2022 with dried flowers and continued Spring of 2023 with fresh flowers from a Dear Friend/Neighbor's trees. My precious extraction sparkles with many of the elusive top notes that make Black Locust Flowers what they are. The rest I built with essential oils based on the chemistry of the plant. As always, I left room for Dreams and Other Ghosts.

Boneflower & Coffinwood
[Cream Perfume]
- Currently on Batch #1 -
Tuberose is also known as "Boneflower." For this aspect, I used an especially luscious Floral Wax. Cedarwood is also known as "Coffinwood." For this aspect, I used Blood Cedarwood essential oil.
Next, Ammoniacum I extracted myself. This exalts every note. I liken the scent to the colors of a faceted peridot. Gilded green and Beyond.
I then pondered over my Olfactive Treasures and added a note of Cepes I extracted over a decade ago.

One of the genuine Moldavite chips used to charge the entire batch is included with each dram.

Mulled Rose
[Eau de Parfum]
- Currently on Batch #2 -
Work on Mulled Rose began Summer 2022 when I started collecting the blooms from three types of aromatic roses I grew from bare roots and extracting the fragrance. Golden Celebration, Lady Emma Hamilton and Munstead Wood Roses.
I let my extraction age for a year and it took on this amazing tactile quality of velvet touched by sunrise on a cool clear day's beginning. Its scent was that of a fine rose brandy I wish existed.
Expanding upon this idea, I added five ingredients evocative of roses - many are absolutes, one is a wood as well as bright bergamont, nutmeg, cinnamon and a Victorian Pomander.

Spider Queen Creole
[Perfume Oil]
- Currently on Batch #1 -
This is my Love Letter to Louisiana, where I was born and lived until my early 20s. It is the scent of Elegant Decay.
My maternal Ancestors were in Louisiana long before it became a state.
Abandoned and crumbling. Taken back by Nature and Time. The perfect, peaceful place to weave your web and read forgotten books. Memories of candlelight and incense. Majestic, curling tree roots. Sweet venom. Moonlit mist. Swamp flowers.

The Undertaker's Blues
- Currently on Batch #1 -
[Perfume Oil]
The Undertaker's Blues smells the way just enough warm sun feels on your face in Autumn when you're looking forward to a celebration that evening. This is a lightly-spiced Suede Chypre with soft baked pumpkin flesh* and Madagascar vanilla beans* illuminated by Gardenia. Just when you think this perfume has settled on your skin, it shifts and reveals another configuration. I tried for - and I think succeeded in - capturing the feel of an elegant Hallowe'en Party a century ago.

The Water Mirror
[Perfume Oil]
Batch #2 is a bit darker, more velvety and less sweet than Batch #1 -
The Water Mirror is my olfactive interpretation of The Greek Myth of Narcissus and Echo. A Tragic Beauty.
My accord evocative of Narcissus, Sandalwood, Neroli and Jasmine in a base of fractionated coconut oil.
