Ingredient Information

Each of our Handmade All Natural Botanical Ritual Perfumes contains many ingredients. Each is The Magical End Result of many, many Processes. Some of our ingredients are extractions created in-house. And the plant material used for some of those was even grown in our small, chemical-free garden. We bulk buy absolutes/concretes/essential oils/CO2 extractions/etc. from respected suppliers specializing in such with long, verifiable credentials. Our accords are created in house. Our Perfumes are created in very small batches [4 to 8 oz.] and allowed to properly age before being made available for sale. Each Batch of Perfume fills A Master Bottle. It is from this that your desired bottle sizes are decanted when you order. We do not use AI to create any of the Art for our packaging, event graphics, etc - Sara designs/curates [buying signet rings, wax seals, rubber stamps..] all of that.

We currently have 20 different Perfumes. We are able to sustainably invest in everything this writing is trying to articulate that goes on behind the scenes because we've been at this for a long, long time. And though we will always be the sort of Company you heard about thanks to your own curiosity - and not "advertising" - We are Small But Mighty.

Sara, our Perfumer, is certified by The Natural Perfume Academy. She was also among those selected to pilot their Advanced Master Course before that was unveiled. Her coursework related to that was finished up during the Spring of 2024. Her study of Natural Perfumery is lifelong.

Ingredient safety is taken very seriously. We do not use any pre-made bases. We do not use anything artificial. We do not use any ingredients that hurt other creatures. Be those sourced from other animals.. Or ingredients that exist because of exploitative labor processes [Egyptian Jasmine, as an example]. We do use a few ingredients that are animal by-products - such as aromatics from beeswax, bee pollen, propolis, honey, butter, etc. All of that is transparently stated when the case. There are so many beautiful ingredients out there we can feel good about wearing. That's what we work with. We like sleeping well at night.

And just because an ingredient is natural doesn't mean it is automatically safer. These are very potent, very complex molecules. Any natural ingredients that are known to be potential allergens are used well below the amount deemed safe by academic textbooks and agencies overseeing such things. If you feel any sensitivity to any perfume, wash it off immediately and discontinue use on the skin. You can instead try it in something like a scent locket to see if that works for you.

Please look for a page like this from any business who'd like to sell you what they claim is perfume. The list of ingredients covered will be much, much longer if they use synthetics.

With all of that said, here's a list of potential allergens that are Natural. And if it is in one of our Perfumes, that's noted..
