Three Card Thursday

First we have the Knight of Cups, which indicates that this week is a good time to move forward in new ways creatively or emotionally. It’s a time to take small risks in ways you’ve always wanted to.

Next we have the Two of Swords reversed. This card, coupled with the previous one, shows us that now is the time to stop being drawn in two directions and instead focus on the third side; the thing that we really want. Now is the right time to look beyond either/or choices and instead find what really fulfills us.

The last card for this week is the Knight of Swords reversed, which invites us to look at all the places where attempting to use pure logic has failed us. Logic that doesn’t take account of our emotions and the emotions of those around us can lead us in the wrong direction because we’re applying our reasoning to a model that doesn’t capture enough of what is happening. This card reminds us to consider the whole situation and act accordingly.
