The Roman God Janus is associated with all beginnings. This Archetype embodies what was on my mind as I created this all natural cream perfume.
The base is an unrefined dark beeswax with natural notes of smoke and chocolate + Tonka Bean Paste. To that, I've added essential oils of Ylang Ylang, Lavender, Lime Peel, Nutmeg, Clary Sage, Cinnamon Bark, Palo Santo and Nagarmotha. After being aged, the entire small batch was used in Smoke Enfleurage so as to further incorporate the natural fragrance of roasted Shag Bark Hickory.
Natural Perfumes do not linger on the skin as synthetic fragrances do, but well-hydrated/moisturized skin helps provide a better foundation for anchoring these beautifully-complex molecules. Keep all natural perfumes somewhere cool and away from sunlight. Care for them as you would a baby vampire.
The Sample Ring holds .80 gram. This flip-top ring is not adjustable. Size 6.
Also available, another most befitting wearable curiosity for your cream perfume. The front of the brass book is adorned with a mischievous horned creature, sculpted by me/Sara. Each is a bit different. A unique work of Art. These Lockets are empty.

I fell in love with the Janus scent the first time I bought it, and the thought of running out of it was maddening, so I had to get more as a back-up. My absolute favorite perfume so far. They are all good but I am thrilled to have more of this. The packaging is always a gift in itself as well!
You know that scent--the one where you come home after a long night of laughter and dancing in a moonlit Autumn grove with your crafty friends, the smoky tendrils of a bonfire circling your wrists and sharing the deep, heady delights of fruited wine and honeyed mead, music and magic thrumming in your blood until you all collapse onto soft earth into a sweet blanket of salt and skin. You come home, close the door, and the scent is a memory clinging to you as close as a lover who promises to stay, at least for a little while. Yeah. That scent. THIS. IS. IT.
